Connected but no music options

When I open the Sonos app on my computer, it is black with no music listed and says there is nothing on the queue. It is connected to wifi and the app, but still won’t work. When I search music it comes up blank. I tried restarting the computer, and reinstalling the app, but nothing is working. Please help!

Try rebooting your router and speakers.

Hi @Club Pilates Studio

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Please try @John B‘s advice first.

If the Sonos app is on Microsoft Windows, please make sure Windows thinks your connected network is Private and not Public. (Windows Menu » Settings » Network & Internet » WiFi/Ethernet » [connected network] » Private)

Regardless of the type of computer, you may also need to open your firewall for Sonos. How to do this varies with Operating System and software installed.

If the computer uses a WiFi extender to connect to the network, this may interfere with Sonos communications. Try turning it off.
