Changed broadband and Alexa has stopped actioning my commands

I changed broadband providers and since then whilst Alexa response and acknlowedges my request:

Alexa, play songs by Prince

 

Playing songs by prince on spotify… nothing happs.

 

I can access the sonos app or spotify app and play songs / media on any of my many devices… but none can be operates via Alexa.

I have removed Alexa from all devices - no joy

Removed all services from sonos - no joy

Disabled all skills on alexa and re-enabled - no you

 

I have a beam, several ones… none work

Try unplugging your Alexa-enabled Sonos speakers from power for about a minute.

Thx. The power has been off several times and no joy…. although the one in my wardrobe does now work. My kitchen, lounge and childrens bedrooms still aren’t playing ball.

You could try rebooting your router. What router are you using?

Thanks all. So it’sa frizt box operating Zen broadband. My connection is now phenomenal in every single room.

If i control via the app no problem at all, the only issue is Alexa.

For example if i say:

Alexa, play radio 6

Playing BBC radio 6 music → then the bbc sounds intro will play… but no music

Alexa, play spotify

Here’s spofity…. nothing

This happens in every single room. I’ve tried turning off all the power in house several times with no progress. 

 

I have tried using my boost, not using my boost. I’ve tried removing alexa from each device etc… nothing works
