Cannot connect to new so os

I got a new sonos play 1 yesterday and set it up without any real difficulty.

Today however I am having issues with it not being able to connect. I am using an iPhone as the connection device. I am connected to the wifi I connected the play to. I can get connection occasionally for short periods of times. Sometimes it says it can't connect, other times that I am connected to my wifi network but sonos isn't. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps I can find but nothing works.

Anyone help with this at all? I have a brand new play 1 currently unplayable 😞

Most obvious thing to check would be to look for any network IP conflicts (two devices having the same IP address) but I guess you already tried that?
