Hello,
I can't seem to get anything to play inside the Sonos app, only radio stations work.
I use the Spotify free account.
When I choose a playlist, in order for it to play I have 2 options :
1) Choose the "Spotify link" on that page
2) Choose "Shuffle" to play it inside the Sonos app.
If I choose "Shuffle" it loads the playlist, but then cycles through each song and with each song complains about the password for Last.Fm to be wrong.
I don't know what it's talking about, because I don't have Last.Fm loaded as a service.
I even registered with Last.Fm and added the service to my Sonos and linked it with Spotify and it still says the password is wrong. So clearly it is wrong about the password and Last.Fm, because it has absolutely nothing with it.
If I choose the Spotify link it then plays that playlist inside Spotify but the sound comes from my phone and I have to select the Sonos speaker for it to play on the speaker.
How can I fix this so that it starts playing from the Sonos app without the last.fm error ?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings,
Soxbrother

Hi
You are limited to 6 songs skips per hour with Spotify Free account as shown in the link: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1153?language=en_US
If the issue is regarding “password” I suggest you:
- Sign out of Spotify on-line
- Delete the service from the Sonos app
- Make sure the Sonos app is up-to-date
- Sign into Spotify on-line
- Add the service to the Sonos app
Let us know the outcome. Cheers!
