BT SmartHub 2 and Disc connection issues

I upgraded my home network to a BT SmartHub 2 plus Complete Wifi Discs. My Sonos Connect will connect to my home wifi via the SmartHub router, but not in the kitchen where wifi is provided via the disc. Previously it has worked (a bit unpredictably) in both wireless and wired configurations with my old router - using powerline extenders. Any ihelp gratefully received on how to get this working again with the new router setup?

@Steve Lewis Did you ever solve this issue? I’m wondering about getting a smart hub 2 to help resolve issues I have with the sonos controller losing connection when moving between APs but sounds like the smart hub 2 maybe has issues too?
I was having issues when using Powerline Ethernet adapters, but after talking to Sonos I have gone wireless for all speakers and this seems to have fixed the issue (fingers crossed)

I don’t seem to be having any problems if my phones connected to the disk or hub, and it seems to have removed the 2.4/5 ghz problem
