Beam dropping from App every day

My new beam that I bought a month ago and have set up with 2 Play 1's as surrounds, was dropping out of TV sound for a few seconds quite regularly initially. I tried all recommended fixes, especially those associated with the LG TV (setting audio out to PCM not Auto etc), then tried disabling Alexa, all to no effect.

Now the Beam will drop from the App each day, and I have to reset it every day. However when it is invisible from the App, it still works ok with TV sound, and doesn't ever seem to drop out from TV sound. The only problem is the surrounds don't work if the Beam is 'lost' !!

All this is getting very frustrating. The Amp sat next to the Beam works fine, and I've tried different wifi channels.

Any advice?
