Balance adjustments (almost) have no effect.

Hello,

I got two paired Sonos Play:1 in my office. One to my right, one to my left. In the Sonos controller app its named as "Office (L+R)" so I assume it's ok.

I want to make my right speaker louder, so I thought I could use the balance setting and moved it to right (max). But the sound itself does change at all, i.e. the left speaker is still the loudest speaker even when I move the switch to the most right (or left, just in case) position. I recognize though that at some point both speakers become more quiet, but it looks like they always would have exactly the same level of loudness.

Anybody experienced this before?

Kind regards,
Christian

Are they definitely set up as a Stereo pair and not just grouped?

If so have you tried separating them and re-pairing?

Hey @bockersjv

thanks. Actually It was paired well and I believe it did work before.

However, separating and repairing did do the trick. Not sure why I didn't try that before. Thanks for telling me!
Works again now.

Cheers
