Audible - Cannot Play Audible Content Via Sonos

This situation has existed for some time and initial comments from Sonos appear to suggest the issue would be resolved.

Can someone please confirm if there are any plans to re-enable the capability to play Audible content via my Sonos (without buying extra hardware) the way this used to work?

Or should I just throw the Sonos in the bin and get a decent system, that actually still does what it advertised as doing?

Look at the dates on these posts. They go back well over a year with the earliest saying a fix is coming. Wouldn't hold your breath. They don't really care you know.....
