Artists not displaying

Recently I downloaded from iTunes some new music. I have verified that all music is on my iPad and in my local library.

When I go look under ARTIST the bands I downloaded are not displayed. When I go to ALBUM, they are there and I can play them. When I search for an Artist, the Sonos app CANT find them.

So, I am confused. The music is on my ipad, it does work (if I go find the album) but searching and under the artist listing is not working.

Any ideas..?
