Access to music library on WD NAS periodically lost in iOS S1 app

After years of problem free use I’ve recently started to have problems accessing music on my WD My Book World NAS.


Playback seems to be ok but periodically I lose access in the iOS S1 app to navigate my library. I don’t get any errors just no results from this source appear in search and if I navigate to the music library the app shows a blank page. If I force close the Sonos app on my phone and reopen it access is restored. 


Anyone have any ideas about this?
