Showing lyrics while in the sonos app on your smart phone of tablet. it would be a great idea, no?

How about showing the lyrics of a song while in the sonos app on your smart phone of tablet. My son likes a bunch of the music we have on our network and it would be great to use this awesome set up as a way to learn the song while listening to it... Matthew E

how to hide wires for playbar

I've got a playbar but don't want to have the audio wire visible. How does Sonos recommend doing this? In the sonos brochure you have a tv and wall-mounted playbar (on bright yellow wall) with no wires showing. Presumably you buried these into the wall?

Sonos controller in Mac menu bar

I'd love to be able to control Sonos while on my Mac without having to open the full app. It would be nice to have a menu bar icon available at all times that would give controls and allow you to see what's playing.

Playbar and Connect AMP grouped volume

When I group a Connect AMP and Playbar (which is connected to a TV), I can't control the volume using the TV's remote as a group, it only adjusts the volume of the Playbar. This means I have to reset the balance of the speakers within the group every time someone adjusts the volume using the TV remote. Having to adjust the volume on my Connect Amp within the Sonos app is a real pain. Is there a way the group volume can be controlled by the TV remote?

My Playbar setup with Down and Out Mount, HDMI switcher, Harmony remote (long)

We recently remodeled our family room, and the Sonos Playbar was a key component in the upgrade. I spent a good deal of time researching the various aspects of the remodel. I know this post is lengthy, but I wanted to include pertinent details to hopefully help others researching similar setups. Previously we had a 40” TV inside a TV armoire, with an inexpensive surround system, bluray player, and cable box all in the same armoire. When remodeling the room, we decided that having the TV above the fireplace would work best with regards to room dynamics. However, there were two issues created by that decision: 1. I wasn’t crazy about the prospect of staring up at the TV constantly (being an Optometrist, I am keenly aware how eye position relates to eyestrain and headaches)., 2. I wasn’t going to accept the poor quality sound from most TV speakers. However, there was now nowhere in the family room to keep the A/V components, including a sound system. Sonos System plays music while controllers are out of range

I use both my ipad and iphone as controllers at home, taking both with me to work daily. My wife at home says the Sonos system may either continue playing music after i leave or will cut out or randomly start during the day. Why is this?

Select multiple rooms for line in auto play

I'm connecting a 3rd party communication controller to my Sonos system to use a door chime and paging feature.  This device has an RCA analog output that I connected to the line in on one of my  connects.  When the door bell is pressed the Sonos goes to the line in and plays the chime.  Would it be possible to select multiple rooms for the auto play instead of only one.  I know you can group rooms together and allow for groups in the auto play but that is not a fixed setting as the customer will change the group setting. I have done a work around for some rooms by using a 1 in 4 out analog audio amp and connected the comm controller to 4 Sonos connects.  This helps but I have a few connects that are in a different location that I can't get a wire to.  Also it would be nice to have the Sonos connect jump back to previous source with a 10 or 20 delay after the auto play source is off.  The way it is now if the doorbell rings the music stops to play

"network connection speed insufficient to maintain playback buffer"

I've been having the same problems with music playlists stop playing and "network connection speed insufficient" messages coming up shortly after every track it try's to play and skips to the next!!!! Really gets annoying when your trying to chill out!!!

The iPhone volume buttons used to work with the ios app but now don't seem to be working? Anyone else having this issue?

Liberate the rear channels for normal music please!

Please change code for playback default so that rear channel L/R speakers play music when not playing back TV surround sound. It stinks that they just sit there doing nothing when listening to music instead of TV.

I have a sonos amp that I would like to add two subs too. Is this possible? If not, can I have one of the subs set up under a different room, paired with another sonos device but just run them simultaneously?

Can a Connect:Amp power two pairs of speakers?

I have two pairs of speakers installed in the ceiling in my kitchen.  I would like to know whether these can be powered by a single Connect:Amp. The speakers are rated as 6 ohms. I would be grateful for any advice or guidance as I am looking to increase my Sonos set up as soon as possible!

I move around the world. Does the SONOS equipment use 110 or 220 power or is it dual voltage? Dual voltage would be best!

Smaller Sub

Anyone else thinking up of a bunch of uses of a smaller, less-expensive Sub? Especially zones with in-ceiling speakers or a modest Playbar setup. Nothing drastically different on overall design, just smaller and costing $500...

Buzzing from Play:1 during bass when over half volume

When Play:1 is turned up past half volume, the speaker buzzes during any bass, such as a bass guitar...tried resetting it, moving it to another location, unplugging power cord and reconnecting...still buzzes. Speaker is brand new, can I use the warranty for a new one?

Sonos was unable to add the music folder. Reason: Unable to add the shared folder "\\COMPUTER\Music" to your music library (1002).

I have installed the Sonos Controller app on my Windows 7 computer, but when I attempt to add my Music folder I get the following error: Sonos was unable to add the music folder Reason: Unable to add the shared folder "\\Computer\Music" to your music library (1002). I have tried connecting to other shares without success.
