Hello,I am looking to purchase a U Turn Orbit Plus with a built in Pre Amp. Will my old Gen 1 Connect:Amp Z100 work with this turntable? Or will I need to get a more updated amp/port/five for this to work?I currently have a collection of (2)Sonos One SL and (2)Play:1 speakers, a Beam, and Boost. So does this work? Turntable w/ PreAmp → Connect:Amp Z100 → Sonos speakers (One and Play:1 or Beam)
I have a Home Theater setup (Beam, Sub and 2 Play One SL)I like the touch panel functionality but I have to disable it because my kids like to press the touch buttons on the surround speakers.. They are not that high placed. It would be convenient if there was an option in the software where i could make to Beam work with touch panel and disable the touch panel function on the other devices
Recently the behavior when scrolling in the desktop controller for Mac has been very frustrating. The menu keeps reverting to prior menu when scrolling.Example, when you search an artist, and then begin to scroll through their albums, the controller reverts back to previous menu listing the artists. It is almost impossible to scroll down unless you go very slowly without this behavior happening. This behavior is occurring on multiple laptops in our household using desktop controller. Anyone else with this issue? System info: Sonos Controller for Mac, Version: 14.8, Sonos OS: S2
I’m having all sorts of connectivity and grouping issues on large varied Sonos system ONLY with Apple Music. Other music services work fine. What’s up? Looks like Sonos not purging previously played Apple Music so occasionally receive error, “system in use elsewhere”. Usually it just plays Apple Music on certain, but not all, grouped speakers.
Have picked out the Ultimate which includes the ARC, Subwofer, and 2 ERA 300s. I have 3 questions:Do I Need, Should I get, 2 additional ERA 300s for the front of the room or will the ARC suffice? Is that overkill? Because of 11 or 12 foot ceiling should I get adjustable stands versus fixed for the two rear ERA 300s? I just purchased a Yamaha RX-A4A how will the Sonos system connect up to it?
So I have a beam with x2 One SLs connected to the TV for surround & WiFi for multi room where I have other One's around the house. All are fine except when I'm near the One sl's (around 2ft) in the living room that are linked to the beam where they start cutting out & in like interference. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
I have 2 Sonos arc setup, second one was only bought couple of days back. Other one is in my living room we used to get moderately good sound around level 20, now we have to bump it to around 45 to hear properly and to get good room filling sound have to go till 80. And the new arc is in small bedroom felt that sounded even lower.
I have a Sonos Five, Beam, and Symfonisk satellites in my living room. The Five is purely there to connect my turntable, so I do not want it to play when the TV is being used. Is there a way to accomplish this without having to manually toggle speakers every time we switch from the turntable to the TV?
Hi everyone,I am new in this community and i would ask you, that are more expert than me, how to create a system audio, using sonos, for a restaurant that has multiple room and external space. This is the structure:External space (200mq) ----- main hall (150mq) ---- secondary hall (50mq)I was thinking to put a Sonos Move in the external space, in the middle of the space (no cable). Two Sonos ONE SL in the main hall and a sonos one SL in the secondary hall.Between the external speaker and the main hall’s speaker will be more than 30m, same with the one in the secondary hall.I would like to play the same music in all the spaces. The audio source can be in the main hall. Can i group, using my WIFI, all the devices and play the same music? (the source can be a phone or must to be connected to spotify?)In case the WIFI is not working, can i connect the device between them using some chain link system, maybe based on bluetooth or wlan? Thanks
Hi,My kitchen is a T shape with the bottom/middle section configured as a “morning room” with a TV. The remaining area is supposed to have a pair of Monitor Audio CP-CT380-IDC ceiling speakers but they haven’t been fitted yet. I bought an Arc, Sub G3, Amp and a pair of One SLs for my lounge which hasn’t been finished yet and I’m sat here listening to them in my morning room. The trouble is that they’re so good, I’m thinking that there’s no point in fitting the ceiling speakers now!I’ve had the ceiling speakers (fully enclosed) running from the Amp and they’re good but still inferior to the Arc/Sub (perhaps the Sub makes a significant difference). I might hook up the sub to the same zone as the ceiling speakers for a fair comparison.I need a soundbar in my morning room anyway so does it sound crazy to use the ceiling speakers elsewhere and just go for another Arc/Sub for both TV and music? Thanks :)
If you have Wi-Fi connection can you connect pair of roams in stereo mode with Bluetooth source like Samsung freestyle projector? And since roams need to be in bt mode to recive signal from projector that doesn’t unable em to work in Wi-Fi as condition for stereo mode? Thx in adv
I have created some playlists. I guess the content is from my Apple Music subscription (?) I have just cancelled with Apple and signed up with Spotify. Will my playlist just pull the playlist content from Spotify, or will I lose them once my Apple subscription ends? Thanks, Kate
Hello,I would like to pass on Sonos system, but with this restriction: I would like to keep my existing Hifi system compose as followed :1 amplifier hi-fi1 cd player1 platine player1 radio recever I would like to do a multiroom sonorisation, what will be able to diffuse the sound of my Hi-fi without remove it. How can i do it ?regards
Sorry if this should be obvious…I have a very old Bridge/ZonePlayer 80 setup that runs through my traditional speakers, and I’m fine with that and staying on the old app. My wife wants to add music in her office and was wondering if I can add refurbished Play:1 that I can get on the Sonos site (for $99). Seems like the best choice if it will work without me having to upgrade everything!Thank you!
Hi-I own a receiver and a Connect (which powers two non-sonos in-ceiling speakers).I would like to allow the speakers to be able to play sound from both the receiver AND from wirelessly (via Connect)...depending on what source is providing the sound. Is there a way to wire for this? TIA
Hi. I have had a sonos beam for around 8 weeks now and it did work perfectly. The beam keeps intermittently connecting and disconnecting to the tv.It is connected to the tv via an hdmi lead into the hdmi arc port in the tv. I have tried powering everything And reconnecting, i have tried 3 different hdmi leads (which all work on other products fine). I have tried wireless headphones to ensure the tv sound works ok. Has anyone come across this issue before and could help? Thanks
