Hello all! I would like to get our opinions on which of the devices described in the title would you choose to use the HDMI 2.1 with the support of eARC if the other ports in your TV were only HDMI 2.0 ports with regular ARC, and why.
I have 3 sources (Nvidia Shield, PC & Golf sim PC). Arc+sub+era+era as the audio target. Benq LK936ST projector as the video target. I had been successfully using a OREI HDA-935 audio extractor but the 2nd one just died after 3 months of use. Can anyone point me in the direction of a more robust/reliable option that will maintain full audio fidelity? Thanks!
Hi guys,I´ve been searching internet for almost a year now and I still can´t find anyone who sells the-best-for-my-daughter´s-room speaker, which I believe to be Play:1. I don´t expect it to be new of course, fairly used and treated will do. Can you point me to a right direction or maybe you sell one yourself?I live in Czech Republic (Czechia now).Let me know, thanks!JJ
Hey Sonos support, please note that the string table for PowerApp has invalid xml in it. Specifically this:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!--rev numbers are to be ignored, and should not be used.--><stringtables xmlns="http://sonos.com/sonosapi"><stringtable rev="1" xml:lang="en-US"> <string stringId="ServicePromo">PowerApp - Unlimited Music & Video</string> <string stringId="Button_Register">Sign up For PowerApp</string> <string stringId="Button_Login">I already have an account</string> <string stringId="Error5Message">Access token not found, retry</string></stringtable><stringtable rev="1" xml:lang="da-DK"> <string stringId="ServicePromo">PowerApp - Unlimited Music & Video</string> <string stringId="Button_Register">Sign up For PowerApp</string> <string stringId="Button_Login">I already have an account</string> <string stri
Hi,I have Sonos 5.1 system (Beam Gen1 + 2 Play ones and Mini Sub) in my living room, planning to get Sonos amp to hook up with my B&W 606 S2. I am wondering, Is it possible for them to work simultaneously ? Is any delay while they are playing music ?Thank you !
I haven't been able to find the option yet in the SONOS App but it is easily found in the Bose App and most other apps that open a native version of an application . In the Bose app you see a button that just say “Open Spotify” and it will take you to the actual application even though the Bose app also has a native spotify functionality.
In need of a solution to creating a 5.0 system with my current equipment. I have a Samsung TV with no HDMI ARC supported. It has two HDMI ports ( currently taken by cable box and apple tv) and an Digital Audio Out port. Also currently have 1 sonos Amp and purchased a sonos beam. Im looking to have beam play Front L+C+R and the sonos amp power the in ceiling rears for surround. Is this possible, do I need any type of splitters / extractors?
Hello.This problem has happened twice now where when I turn off night mode and either watch TV or listen to music, the Sonos one and Sonos SL surround speakers won't make any noise at all.They're on and recognised in the app, but no sound is produced, to fix the issue I have to disconnect them and re-add then to the system.Anyone else experiencing this??Is is a bug in the latest update?Very irritating. Cheers.Lewis.
Hello, I have a sound bar connected to my tv. I want to be able to control the volume without controlling the tv volume. When I pair the bar to a tv / Sky remote it controls the sound bar, but obviously still controls the tv volume too. Therefore if I turn it up the sound bar, the tv also turns up so there is an echo because there’s two sound sources. Is there a way to pair a tv / sky remote without it also turning up the tv itself? I can control with Alexa but it’s a hassle.
Hi- New to the community here. My question:I have an older Connect Amp that currently powers 2 pair of wired outdoor speakers and 3 Sonos One networked speakers indoors. I am looking to add a subwoofer and a soundbar. Will my existing Connect Amp power these new additions?
I have the following components connected to my home theater:Sonos Amp Sonos soundbar Left and Right rear speakers Non-SonosI would like to connect a Non-sono sub woofer through the Sonos Amp sub woofer port. I plugged in the subwoofer but I am not hearing any boom boom when I put stars wars on the home theater?
Hello Everyone,We will be installing in a Museum gallery several SONOS 5 speakers. They will be above guests heads on one of the walls of the gallery and will require a secondary safety mechanism in case the mount fails.Usually, we would attach a safety cable between the speaker and the mounting surface, but I have not found a mounting point on the speaker to do this. Short of drilling a hole in the cabinet (which would void the warranty) or using some sort of super adhesive mount that could hold the weight of the speaker (might also void the warranty), I am kind of short on ideas.If anyone has experience with this, I would appreciate any and all suggestions.Thank you.
Can the new Roam speaker, or any other small speaker, be connected to my smart T.V. to improve spoken word on T.V. programmes (muffle speech a problem for me). I could buy a Beam soundbar but I’m thinking of something that could be placed next to me to improve the clarity of sound for me and at the correct volume for me without having something like the Beam which might be too loud for my wife?The only Sonos speaker I have at the moment is a Play5
I have a Beam connected to my TV. When I listen to music on YouTube I like to improve the quality of the sound by connecting the Beam to my Play 5s and sub. I turn down the volume on the lower quality Beam and listen through the other speakers. The strange thing is when doing that the Roku remote control stops working. I can still hear what’s playing but I can’t manipulate the YouTube experience or even turn off the TV. Any ideas why the use of the Play 5s and sub would disable the TV remote?
Hi there,Is there a way as an app developer to connect to the Sonos library that connects to Spotify, Pandora etc? In some sense it would be an overlay to the actual Sonos app that does nothing more than connect to the various music services available through the Sonos app. If the answer is "no", what would be the process to formally request this or introduce the concept for consideration by Sonos? Thank you.
I have multiple rooms and previous only one Sub in the dining room. I have updated my Amps and bought a new Sub for the dining room and moved the previous Sub to the Study The Study is connected via an Ethernet cable direct to the Amp Sub port and through a BT extender (hard wire in power circuit) The Dining room via WIFI The speakers in the Study and Dining room are two separate wired YET When I play the study alone music is heard in the dining room – even if I turn the dining room Amp off and visa versa Utterly confusing It is like the Subs are connected and drive the speakers without full sound How do I separate the two subs I’m going mad
Hi,I’ve got a 30% trade-up discount on my account but cannot decide what to buy. If I buy say a Sonos Five and decide to return it within the trial period, will my discount be restored so I can use it against something else or will I lose the discount?
I am able to sync the Fios remote to control the volume though the Sonos Beam when I am watching Fios cable TV. When I switch over to an app (Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max) the Fios remote doesn’t work to control the volume. The Sony/TV a remote doesn’t work for the volume either. How do I get one remote to control everything?
