Sonos and Harmony Elite Remote and Hub

I am using a Sonos Amp (actually several of them) to power existing in ceiling speakers throughout my home.  I am trying out the Harmony system and have incorporated Sonos.  However, when I setup a Sonos activity the Harmony Remote will not power on the Sonos zone.  If I already had music playing in that zone and it was just paused, the Harmony system will work and play the music. Any ideas?
