Unable to add google assistant

Have been having issue adding Google assistant to my Sonos One after I reset it. I keep getting error saying my Sonos one speaker is not registered to the Sonos account. And I kept trying, eventually the Sonos app can’t even open the Assistant app anymore. What’s going on Sonos??

Hi @SLSG, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Would you mind starting by rebooting your router (turning it off for about 15 seconds before turning back on), Sonos devices, and mobile phone? After doing so, are you able to add Google Assistant to the system?

If not, are you using a mesh network, or any wireless extenders?

If you have a VPN on your mobile device, make sure that’s disconnected.

I had a similar problem and I tried with 3 devices with no success until I disconnected the VPN.
