Trouble with transferring Sonos account

Hello there


I recently transferred my sonos account to a different email but it still asks for the old account to which

I don’t know the username or password to.


So I can’t add any new products or much of anything :/ Anybody know the solution to this?

Hi @Robbibbor, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sounds like you may have changed the email tied to your account, rather than the account that your system is registered to. Mind opening the Sonos app and going to Settings > System > Transfer System Ownership?

This should let you get the system registered to the correct email address, and then you’ll be able to log in using the app, and add new speakers :)
