SONOS installation

FIRST HOME BELGIUM

Living room

1 x sub,

1 x Playbar, connect via cable met TV

My personal music on 1 x NAS (LaCie) in the living room, connected by cable with rooter in living room

SONOS Bridge

Addition router

Garage

First rooter

SONOS usage

radio via Tunln (internet radio)

music via de NAS La-Cie

SONSOS 1 en SONOS 2 controllers installed on:

Portable WINDOWS 10

2 x IPhone’s 8

1 x iPath

Changed situation since the system no longer works

Additional “new” router in living room. The distance between the new addition router and      the farthest SONOS PLAY 3’er is max 10 meters        

SONOS Bridge, not working any more (control light not burning)

Current situation, problems and questions

Only SONOS 1 PLAY’er is operational

With  SONOS 2 controller on Portable W,  iPhone’s and iPhat1

Only music via Tunln

Questions

1)Do I need a SONOS “bridge” ? (2 x SONOS 3 players)

                2)A “reset” of all the SONOS players is necessary ?

                3)Is an installation via “Cable” necessary ? (I don’t have a cable of 10 meters)

                4)Do I need a SONOS 1 and SONOS 2 controller

                5)Can you advise and support me with the high level steps for the installation

Future desired SONOS system

Copy personal music from NAS to the cloud (second home).

Currently, I have an subscription on Google Cloud.

Working ok

Future desired situation, personal music applicable via Cloud !

Perhaps you might be better off if you were to call Sonos Support directly to discuss it. To my knowledge, they don’t reach out to you, you must reach out to them.
