Just got my beam and wondered if i can use any hdmi cable as i need a longer one then the one supplied , cheers

Well, I'd be mildly careful about it being HDMI 1.4 (I think) or above, but generally any HDMI cable that you buy these days at the store should be so.
Hmm, a quick Google suggests if you're going to buy a new cable, it likely should be HDMI 2.0.
I used to think HDMI cables were all equal. That was until I got an apple tv 4k and HDR. I had to use a high performance HDMI cable because the apple tv remote was sluggish using a older HDMI cable. to make it future compatible I would go with a HDMI 2.
