Question

Do I just need an arc?

I recently purchased the Sonos Arc and can’t wait to set it up. I will be connecting it to an LG CX, so the atmos function should work flawlessly.

However, my question is this: Outside of the Arc, I will I have an Xbox One X/PS4 (will be updating both systems when the new one comes out), a 4k HDR Blu Ray player (Panasonic DP-UB820-K), and a cable box connected to the TV. Do I need to purchase a receiver of any kind in order to have the Arc emit Atmos from the devices that support it - or will simply having the arc plugged into my TV be sufficient once I set the audio output to the Sonos?

Thanks!

Just plug Sonos Arc into your TV’s HDMI ARC port and you should be fine

To get uncompressed Atmos from the BR player you will need to wait for Sonos to add full PCM support to the Arc, but the other devices will probably be fine.
