I was wondering if it is possible to connect the sonos One Gen 2 and/or Play 1 to philips smart tv in any kind of way?

Not really, without a Sonos speaker that is designed to be part of a TV system, specifically the Beam or the Arc, both of which connect via ARC, and can then use a pair of Ones/PLAY:1s as surrounds.

And just to be super clear, for others who come upon this thread, that pair of Sonos Ones or PLAY:1s can’t be mixed between the two. It has to be a pair of Sonos Ones (of any type), or a pair of PLAY:1s. When setting up surround speakers, you can’t mix and match across product lines.
