I currently have a Soundbar that is hard-wired to my wifi router, an Apple Time Capsule. I am purchasing a second TV and would like to connect a new Soundbar to it. The second TV will not be anywhere near my wifi router. Will the second Soundbar attached to the new TV work without an ethernet cable connecting it to a router? If the Soundbar will work without the ethernet cable connection, will I lose any functionality that I would have with a hard-wired connection? The two TVs will often be in use at the same time and tuned to different channels.
Thanks. I appreciate all comments.

No, you don't need your 2nd playbar connected to the router, and no you won't lose any functionality with this setup.
