Adding Play 1 on S1 app

I have had 2 play1 and 1 play5 for some years

one of the play1 disappeared from the s1 app

as I was trying to solve the problem, my app asked me to upgrade to s2 app: which I did

then the s2 app said that my play5 wasn’t compatible, so I deinstalled the s2 app and reinitialised the play1 that had been upgraded

now I am back on the s1 app with 1 play 1 and 1 play5, but I cannot bring the second play1 into the s1 app

when I want to add a product, it is asking me to upgrade to the s2 app…..

after trying for hours, maybe one of you knows how to fix this issue

Have you tried resetting your Play:1? https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1096?language=en_US

yes I did the reset the first play 1, but this has to do with the s1 app 

when I want to add a product, it is asking me to upgrade to the s2 app…..

this morning I now have the second play1 saying it is not recognised and needs an update...that brings me to the app store...probably to the s2 app
