Add extender to network after SONOS Setup?

I have a Sonos BOOST connected to my ASUS AC-88u router. Connected to the BOOST is a Beam, Sub, and two Play:1 speakers creating for a home theater setup.

It took me a while to get this setup, I had to reset my router to defaults to get everything finally connected. I now need to re-add an Asus AC-3100 router (as a range extender) to connected the rest of the devices in my network.

Am I correct in assuming that all devices are connected through the BOOST so any changes to my home wired / wifi network should be insulated from the sonos setup? Before when I wasn't using the BOOST there were all sorts of strange discovery issues with the Sonos devices, solid orange lights and continued problems with the initial setup. Removing the second router eliminated all problems but now certain devices in my house can't connect (range issues) to my primary wifi router.

Hi erikbaar

I'd pose your question in reverse. Your Sonos in Boost mode (now called "wired") is insulated from your Wi-Fi so adding a range extender will not affect your Sonos. Click the link for a diagram of Sonos in Boost (i.e. wired) mode: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3235?language=en_US

Cheers!
