Activate Sonos on new device

Now that I've installed Sonos on my new computer (MacBook Air), how do I sync it with my account? The HELP option My Sonos Account and PREFERENCES are all grayed out. Is there an easy way to add a device so that I can control it from my Mac Book Air. I am in range of wifi and the About My Sonos shows the correct connection. Thanks!

When you open app you tell it to connect to existing system. As long as your on same wifi as your Sonos it will find Sonos and show you your account.
