A Sonos speaker is added to arc just for voice enhancement.

I have speech enhancement turned on with the arc, but I'm still trying to find out how to hear dialogue better. Is it possible to have a Sonos one SL or another less expensive speaker configured to exclusively play voices?

Has anyone else ever experienced the arc with only one back speaker? In that case, how did that sound?

You cannot add any speaker to exclusively play voices.

To add surrounds, you need two of the same make/model. However, they would play surround/ambient sound.

You can only add one speaker to the Arc when you group, but this would introduce an audio delay and the separate speaker would output the same overall sound as the Arc.
