Sorry, I'm not familiar with Apple Music in the Sonos Desktop Controller. I only use my own Music Library and my advice was aimed at just that: your local music library.. Try indexing your own music...

Yes, it is. In the right pane (Select a Music Source) -> Music Library -> Songs and there you'll find all your songs. Yes, it is. In Music Library -> Artists -> Name -> All.

Leave the beta for it doesn't have all 'normal' options, return to the active Sonos software, apply TunePlay and reinstall the beta.
