So I set up my Sonos with a wired network, but am curious if the Roam, which is still listed as wireless as expected, is it wireless to the Sonos network or is it connected my general wi-fi network.

Thanks!

The Roam connects to your router’s Wi-Fi, it does not use SonosNet.

This can be evidenced within About My System where the Roam will show as WM:1, whilst those connecting through the wired network will show as WM:0

Yes, I noted that above. I wasn’t sure if that meant it was wireless to the SonosNet or not.

“Wireless to the SonosNet” means “using SonosNet” and so inevitably would show as WM=0.  We are all agreed that this is not possible for the Roam.

WM=0 means “connected by Ethernet or connected wirelessly to SonosNet”.

WM=1 always indicates “connected to WiFi”, i.e. specifically to your home WiFi, not just wirelessly.

Thank you.
