A Sonos user would like to have Yandex Music (Яндекс.Музыка) available on his Sonos system.

We don't have any updates right now regarding Yandex support for Sonos. I'll pass this suggestion along to the team for you.
So it's been 3 years since this question and noone has taken care of it. Outdated samba auth that Sonos uses - nobody cares either.
SInce it needs to be initiated by the 3rd party, not Sonos, I'm not sure that your anger here in Sonos' boards is entirely valid.

Ask them to visit and sign up or just review the FAQs there. That will get them started down the path to being included in the Sonos ecosystem. Unfortunately, Sonos just can't go our and add whomever they want, there are legal restrictions.
There are 2 music source that I want to use my more-than-500-EUR speaker for... And both are unavailable. I can understand that thing with Yandex, but the samba authentication literally pisses me off.. it's been years since the new and more secure auth is out, and there are threads in this forum talking about it - still nothing happens..
