trouble setting up another device and using seperate accounts?

We have bought the Sonos One (Gen 2) speaker and I have set it up on my iPhone fine, my boyfriend has gone to set it up on his android phone but theres no green flashing light for him to set up on his phone as a new speaker, is there anyway of him setting up the speaker to his device as a new speaker or can he only do it as a existing speaker as it’s already set up on mine? 

Basically we both have Apple Music and have different playlists and so I wanted to be able to listen to mine and then for him to listen to his own music on his, as now it only shows him my music.
