Hello everyone. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas.
If possible, could someone please tell me how I add the above radio station to my stations.
I have tried the URL for the pop up radio but it does not work.

http://www.totalrock.com/

Thank you very much.

John.

This one might not be possible to get. I couldn't get it to play from my office in the first place (the player or streaming provider used is likely blocked) but I did see a recurring reference to a .FLV file, which is a Flash "video" file that likely holds the streaming audio used by the player. Sonos is not able to play audio encoded in FLV streams, as it's a proprietary format that Adobe uses for their Flash player.

If no one else has dug further into this one before I get home this afternoon, I'll take another stab at it then and see if I can find anything out about it.
Not at home to test. Is this different from what you have tried?

That M3U file didn't seem to work for me in VLC... but putting the URL inside of it (which I can't post since the site's filter doesn't like the numeric IP address) produced what sounds like two different streams or stations combined together. Definitely not listenable.

Thank you John B but that will not work for me either.
I appreciate you trying for me though.

Well, they might want their URL to be secure, and make you think it's for flash only... but a simple change and it works just fine with Sonos. :)

Unfortunately, because of two characters that make a smiley face, and no way to turn this feature off, I can't post the URL here without the site turning it into a mess. I've posted the URL in a page on my own website here. That link will be valid for 48 hours before I remove it.

BTW... there isn't any song info for this station (what shows as "Information" doesn't seem to change), just so you know.

For more info on how to add a custom station to Sonos, see this support article.

That is fantastic. Thank you very much Mike.
