Remote streaming from music library

I have a Sonos 1 and stream music successfully from my router-attached Western Digital MyCloud database. My question is; If I move my Sonos 1 to a remote location that has a router identical to the one at home (an ASUS N900 router), should I be able to stream music from my database that is still located at home? Or will I have to buy a portable NAS drive with a copy of my music. The remote location is a long ways away and I hope not to have to go there to find out which one works.
Thanks if you have any suggestions.

You will not be able to stream from your home NAS. You must be on the same subnet for Sonos to see your NAS.

You'll need another NAS - make the name of the NAS the same and the directory structure the same and it should play nice with it just moving from one location to the other.
