Play 3 and Connect stop playing streamed amazon music channel?

After updating to S2 Sonos app on iOS, my hardwired Play 3 and connect will stop playing music and the app says “no music selected”?  I typically play Amazon music stations.  This was not an issue until updating to S2 app.  Is this a known issue and how do I fix this?

Sounds like an issue in your local network. Unplug all Sonos devices from power, then reboot your router. Once the router comes back up, plug the Sonos devices back in.

I’m not convinced that this is a network issue.  This music streaming interruption is coincident with switching to the new S2 app.  Is there a way to diagnose this or some error codes that are logged somewhere  that I can investigate?
