Our local radio stations still appear in our favourites but they will not play. The only thing we have done is switch to Execulink from Rogers. Yesterday I spent two hours on the phone with Sonos support and was not able to find anything wrong with my Sonos. Is it possible for telecoms to restrict access and if so why?

It’s possible, yes, but unlikely. Why is anyone’s guess.

What I suspect is more the case here is that your new internet provider uses a different path, or the radio streaming service has changed their system slightly, and your “favorites” need to be re-set up. If you go in to TuneIn, or myRadio, or iHeart radio, or any of the other radio providers available on Sonos, can you still play the radio stations? That would tell you if it really is an issue with the saved “favorite” or with the radio station or streamer directly.
