I take my Sonos Roam with me to work. I’d love to listen to Sonos Radio HD..but apparently you have to be part of the “network” that is connected at home to play it - not sure if that’s because HD sound needs higher bandwidth or something else. So two questions: You still can’t use Sonos HD Radio unless you’re part of your “main” network, correct? If #1 is correct, will that ever change so if you are on the go you can listen over cellular/bluetooth? I mean even if it’s not HD audio, just the fact it’s available would be nice. My understanding is that you can’t listen at all unless you’re part of the main home network.
Hi All,Normall when I listen to a podcast using my Sonos system when its completed it drops off my list in the windows app. But every so often is doesn’t and this is happening on multiple podcast.In the screen shot below only the top podcast #338 is not completed. So #330 and #325 should have disappeared in the same way #1 - #324 have and #326 - #329If I look at it on the sonos android app it shows Again it doesn’t disappear like it should but it at least shows as complete. Under the pocket cast app is only shows 1 podcast #338 which is correct Do any one know how to:Make the podcast disappear once they are completed? or force the resync so it doesorShow the completed flag in the windows app? Sonos has just sent me an email saying ‘Whats new on Sonos Radio’ here in the Uk Telling me great news Sonos Radio is online click on link to go to our new Radio Page WRONG the link takes me to their existing page with there products etc.anyone else received this premature email this morning looked online and see no new announcement from Sonos either
I don’t see any Sonos-made Station on Sonos app. Pick any station shown on Sonos Radio website and search for its name on Sonos app, I see only third-party radio stations but no Sonos-made stations.For example, the Smooth Jazz station on Sonos Radio. I can play on my browser just fine, but when I search for “smooth jazz” in my Sonos app I see only third-party stations.I know that Sonos has created many high quality stations but I am not able to browse any of them in the app, let alone searching for it. In the “Browse Radio” page in the app, I see only third-party stations, no way to browse only Sonos-made stations. Please recommend what I should do.I use Google Pixel 6. Sonos app is on its latest version. My Sonos system is a pair of Sonos One SL.Thanks.
Hi. I have been trying to get the tracks on my Amazon Music app and those that I can access via the Sonos app as I have too much 'clutter' on the Sonos version for example track duplicates. I have tried removing my Amazon account from within the Sonos app and reauthorizing it but no difference. For you to see what I mean I will post 2 screenshots one of the Amazon app (with just one track entry) and on the Sonos app with 6 track entries (one the Live! version which I never play!)Any ideas anyone?
For the last couple weeks I have had problems using Alexa to trigger Spotify music on my Sonos Roam.If I ask Alexa to play a song, the Alexa voice will respond and indicate the correct song on Spotify, but then... nothing! No music comes out of the speaker.I can still play music on the Roam via the Spotify Connect or Sonos App. It just won't play when I use Alexa.I have reviewed all the settings, and Alexa has Spotify skill enabled. This used to work fine. What am I doing wrong?
Hello, I just signed up for Apple Music and added it to my Sonos account. However, I can’t see any of my library, with the error message: your library is currently unavailable, please check back soon. I have restarted my system, readded my account, and enabled library sync in my music iPhones settings. Is there something that I am missing?8
Having this issue for 6mo now and didn't have before. Spoke with gaana many times but not sure where the problem is. Have seen similar questions in forum but none have valid response. I have gaana premium account authorized in sonos app. For many albums, it says not found or not available to play outside India. Attached screenshot below. But it plays fine directly using the gaana app. Somewhere with Sonos integration its failing. This needs to be fixed ASAP and not repeat as there are similar questions in your community for more than a year. Thank you.
Recently I find I'm constantly having to reauthorize my amazon unlimited music account after Sonos seems to have ?lost access to it. When I attempt to reauthorize, Sonos returns an Error (can't reauthorize). I've tried deleting my amazon account from Sonos and reinstalling it but that dones't work. This is a new thing after about a year with no issues. You seemingly can only connect to AI digitial assistant via Sonos as the assistant attempts to steer you away from any human. At least I was able to speak with someone at Amazon. No solutions so far. Any thoughts? Sonos you out there????
Today is Thursday May 12: as of 4 days ago when I was waking up to one of my alarms I noticed just the annoying chime (which usually indicates something isn’t connected correctly or loss of communication). Well by Wednesday I was trying to fix it and every time I tried to reauthorize my Apple Music account an error pooped every time “saying one or more of your Sonos products needs updating before “this can be done”. I was in the beta community but I left thinking that may be the issue. Called Sonos and got some help he said I had to wait 3-4 days for the beta community ends my account. Will update in 3 days. But I’m pretty sure this is a Sonos issue. They just had some major issues with their online website, and billing platforms, and some upgrades to their controllers.
“Unable to browse music” error for last 2 days when clicking on Calm music service in app. I’ve tried reauthorizing, remove and readd service, reinstall sonos app. All same result. Not seeing anything new on here so…anyone else? Submitting a support bundle if no one else is seeing. I miss twitter support for sonos that would have made this much easier to troubleshoot. thanks
After years paying for Spotify, and having flirted with Apple Music for years as well, and abjuring Pandora, I’ve finally decided that YouTube Music does by far the best job of curating songs for me based on just a little bit of criteria. In short, YouTube Music is the coolest. And yet as has been well noted by other commenters, Sonos completely sharts the bed when it comes to software integration with YTM. Don’t know about others but I can get mine to do a sum total of zero functioning, as far as YTM is concerned. It honestly feels to me like there was some spat between programmers or companies that resulted in a what is essentially a big eff you from one to the other, or a detente perhaps, where someone pissed someone off or had a huge ideological difference of opinion, words were said and then everyone walked away from the conference room table, and left to sit there what is basically a 1/8th developed integration option that does nothing but get people angry. Good afternoon, I was using SONOS fine yesterdays and then today I am getting the message that sonos is unable to locate the server. I have contacted Apple (IMAC) and then have gone through all troubleshooting. This is a frequent problem and I am getting fed up with the inconsistency of use.
I just added Pocketcasts as a music service within Sonos. I subscribe to a couple of podcasts and they show up when I navigate to Pocketcasts via the music service menu. But those podcasts don’t appear when I use the Sonos search functionality. Sonos searches for podcasts within my other music services (Amazon, Stitcher etc) but doesn’t show any results for Pocketcasts. I’ve tried removing and re-adding Pocketcasts. Is this a known issue?
KQED radio keeps dropping out. No other stream is doing this. At first, I rebooted my speakers. Rebooted my computer. Restarted my phone. Deleted the app. and reinstalled them. If I switch from KQED to any other stream, the dropping out stops. I’m concluding that it’s not on my end. Is there anyone else experiencing this KQED streaming issue?
