We've received a request to add Live Phish (livephish.com) as a music service on Sonos. From their website: "LivePhish.com offers high quality soundboard recordings of all Phish shows since 2003 (MP3, Lossless, and 24 Bit HD downloads, and on CD) and webcasts of select shows." If you'd like to see this added to Sonos as a music service, please add your support here.
Hi there, I just installed my first Sonos speaker and I wanted to activate several services in my Sonos app. Whenever I want to add my Soundcloud account to the Sonos app, the app informs me that "there was a problem loading the URL". Therefore I'm unable to play my Soundcloud music via Sonos :-( Thus anyone know how I can resolve this issue???
I am trying to decide between buying into the Sonos or the Bose environment. Bose has better features and a simple connection product, Wireless Link. Sonos has a better app and more services. Where can I find an up to date list of streaming services I can use with Sonos without buying a subscription? For example, can I play the free version of Pandora through Sonos?
Hi All. Since the Apple Music outage a few days ago I just get the message “Unable to browse music” when trying yo use Apple Music. I have removed and reloaded the account, reauthorised it etc to no avail. I have a family account and I did notice that my partners library was working fine which seemed odd. Its becoming a pain now as not all of my set u is Airpaty compatible so fiddling about to link things isn't very user friendly ! I see this seems to have happened over the years but wondered if anyone had a resolution to this ?
Hello, Agenda: Chromecast support on Sonos. I’ve been reading through this forum about this topic, and basically can’t find any clear answer - apart from ‘we’ll pass this request to developers’. As an iPhone user I know I can use Airplay however I don’t find it a very good solution; I get a phone call, music stops, walk out the house, music stops, not to mention my battery constantly draining. Additionally as good (in its own way) the Sonos app is, many services don’t give their respective platforms enough attention, rather spending it on their native apps - many of which support Chromecast. e.g. I often find myself on Soundcloud native iOS app, find a set I want to listen, but then have to go into Sonos’s app and search it again. Similar use case with YouTube music, and Youtube in general, need to use Airplay. So I’d like to ask: Are there are Sonos developers here who could comment on the challenges of implementing Chromecast and what the potential timeline of release (if its realist
A while ago i got my mother in law a sonos setup. Since she isnt tecnical i had to install it for her. And while i was at it i logged on to my spotify acc to show her how it works.. now after a year of pain trying to figur out why my spotify is "beeing used somewhere else and how the heck ABBA is the song that i listen to the most.. I finally found out that my mother in law is the one. Logged on to my account.. Please some one help me get rid of this connection (sonos/ spotify ) i love my wife
Having a Spotify premium account with an additional family member account, I have added both Spotify accounts to Sonos, and Sonos shows both and allows selection of both. The two Spotify accounts have different login information, and were added to Sonos using two different devices, where the browser was logged in on the correct account when clicking the link from Sonos. However, when I play from the Spotify family member account on Sonos, and my own account on the PC, Spotify pauses music on the PC with the message: "Spotify has been paused because account is used somewhere else" It actually means, that even with two Spotify accounts, I can only play from one account when using Sonos. Where can I find a description of how to play on both my Sonos and my PC at the same time, when I have two Spotify accounts ?
In the last couple of weeks I have noticed when I'm streaming from Deezer, it will end a track before it actually is supposed to, or sometimes will skip a track . I know this is a Deezer thing and not a Sonos thing as it does not do this streaming Spotify or Pandora. Anyone else having these issues ?
This is the biggest BS!! Sonos will soon no longer allow me to play my own music. Streaming services only coming soon folks. Sounds like money greed to me. I have been a supporter of sonos since they first came out! I will never again buy a sonos product again, in fact I’m telling all my friends and family and encouraging them to never buy a sonos product. I’m super pissed, that’s a lot of money down the drain for me, cause I don’t “pay” for streaming services l. I just wanted a damn good WiFi speaker that I could have one in each room. To tell you the truth, I’ve been disappointed from the beginning. Sometimes all I want to do is listen to music from YouTube like I do on my Bose mini soundlink, but nope, sonos won’t let me do that. It’s MY damn speaker that I paid money for, and the technology is fully capable of doing so, but money greedy sonos put restrictions to get you to $$ up. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!! and frankly saddened. I had high hopes for you sonos l, high hopes down the drai
Is anyone out there successfully using an external Hard drive plugged into the USB port of a router and having sonos successfully play the music from the external hard drive? Although many posts suggest a NAS, it isn't necessarily the right option for everyone. I ideally want to put my music onto my already existing and very portable external hard drive. I'd also like to keep costs to a minimum, and reduce space usage as much as possible. So buying a cheap router (which I could benefit from) with USB input is the option I am looking at and wondering if it can be done.
I have multiple Sonos devices (7) and multiple Apple devices (4+) and four people in the family. I prefer Spotify to Apple Music, but in everyday use, Spotify often cuts a stream if someone uses a device elsewhere. It's not practical to have one account for each device because of the number of devices and people using it. Is there any work around from Sonos? Is Spotify even working on this issue? If not, I guess I have to stick with Apple Music.
Hi there, I am totally confused and hoping that there is an answer to my problem. We have started using Spotify, but if I create playlists with songs that aren't available on Spotify, and try to play them on our Sonos speakers from my iPad, all of the local files are greyed out. This is even true of songs that I know are not DRM protected (for example, tracks on CDs recorded by friends' bands). If I put headphones into my iPad, I can play the local files, but I cannot play them through Sonos. Is there any workaround at all? It drives me crazy, particularly with albums where I own the full CD, but for some reason, certain tracks aren't available on Spotify, and therefore I can't play the full CDs on Sonos. I get the impression that Spotify blame Sonos, and I expect here people will say it's Spotify's fault -- I just want to know if there is any way at all that I can create playlists that include music I rightfully and legally own, but which isn't available on Spotify. Thanks s
I have two Sonos Ones. Never had a problem until a week ago. Now when I play Spotify on my Samsung S9 and choose the Grouped Sonos devices to play through, it says "Connecting..." but never connects. If I then switch to the Sonos App it says "Last played in this room - Spotify" and under that it says Guest Account. This is despite me Removing the Spotify Account and adding it again. I can then play music via the Sonos App over the Sonos Ones. But I can't connect from the Spotify app, which I've also reinstalled.
