For some reason, I cannot use the ‘My Music’ function of the Apple Music Service anymore. It displays “We’ve run into a problem. Try again.” I have deleted the app on all my devices, reinstalled. I’ve deleted the service and reauthorized. I’ve reset my router. Apple Music works fine. It’s only within the Sonos app that the error occurs. Please help. Family account if that matters, and both users experience this.
If a guest is playing a song on my Sonos and I want to add that song to one of my playlists the S2 controller won't allow me to add it. Or even take me to the album or song info on the S2 controller so I can manually add it. However, I can see in the S2 controller what song is being played. I don't see why this connection couldn't be established so you can continue curating your playlist from songs guests are playing. When I click the (...) It doesn't give any options.
Hi there, I’ve just added the Radioplayer service. I am in Germany and Radioplayer is only listing German Radio stations. Afaik, Radioplayer is also available in other countries.Why can’t I select a French or British radio station in Germany ??? I know that I can do that with TuneIn, but TuneIn is playing ads when I start streaming a radio station, so I want to stop using their service if there is an alternative. Thanks in advance!Oliver
Anyone else having issues with spotify on sonos. Working fine the last couple of days. My kids asked me to play smooth criminal by Alien Ant Farm (their cousin’s name is Annie).Tried with Alexa, she said playing smooth criminal by Alien Ant Farm from Paul’s spotify…..nothing. Tried again, same result.Went into the app on andriod (samsung galaxy s20 ultra), tried to search but no results came from spotify. I went to my spotify app and could play the song but when I attempted to connect to a sonos speaker it just timed out. I tried to re-authorize spotify which said successful but no change. I then dropped spotify from my services and attempted to re-add. Whilst re-adding, sonos reported: “(500) Sorry we are unable to set up your Spotify account at this time.”Just me, or anyone else having issues?Based in Sydney Australia, using spotify premium.
I am in Italian living in Russia. Currently I am unable to use your products because you disable the Russian music services. Although I am not sure this method is effective, I understand your marketing attempt at the expense of you clients to stop the War. Anyway, since I have nothing to do with war and since I cant use your product - will it be possible for you to reimburse me? PS: By the way if I move back to Italy and Italy get involved with NATO in an senseless war like it did in Iraq, Libia, Serbia, Afganistan - are you going to disable the music service also there?
I continually have problems with my Sonos and Amazon Prime Music service. I can play music from my Amazon Prime Music account through the ap and it will play one of my playlists for awhile, then all of a sudden the music will stop. I then get a notification that “…there is missing information with Amazon Music…”.There is nothing wrong with my Amazon Prime Music account, it will play fine off of my kitchen’s Alexa through Sonos while the ap will continue to tell me that there is an issue. I can play music off of the Sirrius station through Sonos with no issues. I can play music off of my computer using the Amazon Prime ap no problem. This issue started a few months back. I have deleted and reinstalled the Amazon Music more than once and it does not help.I spoke with one of the Sonos help personnel earlier today and she told me that the Sonos techs “knew of the issue and that they were working on fixing it”. I want to listen to all the episodes of a series in BBC Sounds, but can’t find a way of displaying the available episodes or selecting the ones I want. When I select BBC Sounds | Categories | etc, it just gives me one episode and, if I select that, I can’t find a way to choose others.And if I switch to ‘Show in Sounds’ it plays it through my phone rather than my Sonos Port.Can anyone help?Thanks.
Hi,I own a S2 system (3xFive + Port) with more than 12000 tracks in FLAC & MP3 on 4 folders of a Synology Nas. This year I found out at I couldn't alter my library, without unplugging al the Sonos components & performing the Update Library with just one active component. Also my Port lost, during the night, track of al the music I played the day before. The Fives hadn't had that problem.These BUGs seemed to be resolved with an update from Sonos this month. But yesterdat I noticed that one of my folders are empty, so I can play just 5000 or 6000 from the whole collection. I took me half an hour to get all folders back, because by adding one folder I lost 2 others.Today I found out I miss again a folder!Perhaps this problem is also due to the automatic Library Update during the night, which is, for me, not interesting. Because when I added the folder I lost again 2 others.I'll try to add my folders again & uncheck the autoUpdate function. But that's only a WorkAroundWhat coul
We have a favourite lullaby playlist on spotify that plays in the children’s bedrooms that is added to the sonos favourites. I also have a spotify family account with 4 accounts added to spotify.The childrens playlist is usually started each evening by physically pressing play on the speaker. When this is done occasionally it will default back to my own spotify account (one of the four), preventing me from using that on another group or within the spotify application itself. When this happens I cannot seem to change which account the childrens playlist plays from. I’ve tried from their group/zone stopping the playlist, changing the account on the spotify music source, and then choosing the playlist from the sonos favourites to no avail. I have also stopped the playlist, changed the account on the spotify music source, and then played something random from within the spotify source before going back to select their playlist from the sonos favourites. Created a few new Apple Music playlists today and they are not showing up in Sonos. I had now problems with playlists I created a week ago. I have turned library syncing on and off on all devices (as per previous closed thread suggestion) but still no luck. When deleting playlists from Apple Music these changes show up in Sonos but nothing when I add them. Any help is much appreciated.
Hi Just signed up the group.i have been trying for weeks to resolve a connection issue with my sonos S1 app.i have turned off my BT hub etc etc with no joy.the app won’t work on my mac or my iphone.the error message is :cannot connect to // name - imac /itunes because the server cannot be found. any help welcome.thanks
I am by no means a sound engineer, but the mid and low range frequencies are much richer on my passive Bang & Olufsen architectural speakers (which are powered by the Amp) when I stream through my Android TV versus other devices (laptop, tablet, phone, etc.) that aren’t directly connected to the Arc via eArc. I understand how many permutations are involved there. I have tried to control for as many of them as I can. What I am really wondering is if the Arc woofers produce frequencies from the passive speakers in certain configurations with the Amp and not in others that seem almost identical?Thanks for any insights.
I have the proper Planet Rock plugin (or whatever it is called!) for Sonos and it seems to work every time on my Roam, but on the lounge speakers, if I don’t play it for a day or so, when I then press play on the Lounge it is never able to play - it comes back with “can’t find Planet Rock station” or something like that.I then have to re-select it from my radio stations on My Sonos and then it plays fine. It does the same thing no matter which app I use - I have it on an iPad Pro and on an Android phone. They both have the same issue.
Hi All,I see this was a problem a year ago. My system worked fine until yesterday. Today, unable to access apple music and get the ‘Apple Music full outage message’. Sonos system is otherwise working fine. All speakers etc connected to network and all updated to latest version. I have just moved house and set up my existing system in various rooms at new house. The problem seemed to arise after I added in my existing play 3 and tv playbar. Prior to that, other rooms with play 1 speakers, sonos arc etc all had access to apple music.Any help/advice on how to fix this?Many thanks in advance.
I’ve followed these instructions repeatedly:Open Sonos. From the Settings. ... Under Music & Content, tap Add a Service. Click on Add to Sonos, then select I already have an account. Click on Authorize, then enter the credentials of the Admin account.#4 does not fully exist...after I click Add to Sonos it doesn’t have an option to select I Already Have An Account. It brings me to a list of streaming services. I’ve already got my Spotify account connected to my Sonos app and now I’m trying to connect, invite, add (WTF ever you want to all it) my wife and/or my wife’s Spotify. When I click on Settings, + Add a Service, then Spotify, it tells me I’m already connected to Spotify.
I’m surprised that there is a gap in the Metal/Hard Rock category. There are several metal stations based on year groups, but where is the Hard Rock? New Lords of Metal plays a lot of great new metal but no hard rock? So, where is the new hard rock? It’s not even in the Rock category either? It’s so funny, there’s multiple obscure channels playing the same death metal, but where’s the Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Halestorm, Black Label Society, Rob Zombie …
Hi all, Recently I had some playback issues with FitRadio and had to remove it from my services. When trying to add again, I click on "I already have an account” and it automatically errors out saying unable to authorize account. It won’t even let me enter username and password.I am not sure what I can do to reconnect. I am able to add other services like SiriusXM where it prompts you to enter your username and password. What can I do?
