Does anyone know if there is a fix to allow me to access all of my Apple Music Playlists in the SONOS App? Since updating to iOS 10.1.1 i am not able to see my playlists that are organised in folders within Apple Music, within the SONOS App. I have tried on iPhone, iPad and Mac, i have re-authorised the account on all these devices and even removed and re-added the service in the SONOS App but still get the 'No Selections Are Available' when i select the folder with my playlists in (They are SMART Playlists - not sure if this makes a difference) It works fine in Apple Music on all the devices - The Apple playlists ('For You, New' etc) all work fine and standard playlists not in the folders all work. I have also got a selection of Radio Stations saved in a folder and this folder also says 'No Selections Are Available' when i select it. I can work around it but I'm pretty certain its only started doing it since the 10.1.1 update Any advice would be appreciated
I saved a station last year that does Christmas carols. It is still online. The shortcut I saved last year in tunein no longer works. I deleted the shortcut and tried looking in tunein but no longer there. How do I play this channel now? Www.christmascarolsradio.org?
Just got this mail from Spotify today that from now I Got this mail from Spotify today saying that from now I could use my Sonos device as streaming unit through my home network. The Sonos devices doesn't appear AS devices in the app however, even though my Sonos system is updated. What did I miss?
Dear Sonos, Its been over a week I am using Play5 (gen2) and figured out multiple cases where some songs (90s ,80s) playing abnormally dull and looks like some beats not getting amplified as required and getting suppressed . Not sure if this is a problem in my set or a general bug . To make a justified testing, I even purchased the same song using 'google play music' account and the result was all the same which made my listening experience a bit down. One example of the song (90s) is given as the link below. If you do a testing at your side, will surely make out what I am trying to say. https://play.google.com/music/listen?authuser#/sr/dhol+bajne+laga I realised mostly 80s and 90s songs (I usually hear Bollywood musical hit songs) appears really dull and less musical to the ears However, new age songs having no issues and sound pleasant well balanced to the ears. It will be great if Sonos can address this issue. Happy to provide further support in your investigation as req
I switched on this morning and my music library had completely disappeared! My iTunes library is intact. How do I transfer from iTunes to my Sonos (my Music Folder doesn't seem to contain the music which I have recently added to iTunes so I am confused as to where that's gone and so just using the music folder will not be enough). This was a nasty shock and I would like to know how to fix it. I am not interested in any other libraries or radio stations.
Hello, My SONOS will not play Spotify. It will try and issue the error "connection to Spotify was lost". I've been having this problem over and over for weeks and I have tried everything I read on the forums. I get this error every time I try to play something from Spotify on any of my Sonos speakers, regardless if I use the Mac App, iPhone App or Android App to control. I have tried: - Rebooting all network equipment (router, access points, etc), and ALL Sonos equipment at the same time. - Removed and added Spotify account, reauthorizing (multiple times). - Updated all Apps and Sonos devices. - Upgraded Spotify to US, paid. More info: - Many Sonos devices are wired with ethernet (3 AMPS, Bar and Sub), and playing single zone also does not work - so unlikely wireless interference. - Other services work well, like Slacker and XM. So Sonos is normally connected to internet. - Spotify works well with same account and on same network, on other devices such as Amaz
I'm new to Sonos products and to this community. I love the musicality of the Sonos range and being a user of Spotify Premium I naturally want to access the service on my Sonos speakers. Spotify is not available where I live in the Middle East but being a British expat I purchased Spotify Premium while in the UK and can now use all Spotify services worldwide, including the Middle East. Unfortunately, what this means is that I can stream Spotify via their app on my iPhone, but I can't access it on Sonos. Here in the UAE Spotify isn't even included as an option in the list of additional music services in the Sonos controller. I wondered if anyone else in a region where Spotify isn't available has faced this problem and has a workaround? It's frustrating to be able to access Spotify through the app but not be able to link it to Sonos.
I have my Sonos system linked with my 7 Digital account. Out of dozens of songs on the account there are a few specific ones that will never play. When played a pop-up message is displayed saying "connection to 7 digital has been lost". I have tried rebooting/resetting my computer, bridge, router, and speakers. If I immediately play any other songs they work fine, there are just a specific few that will never play, so I don't think it is a connection issue. The error listed in the error log looks like the following: Monday, November 21, 2016 - 4:30 PM Eastern Time Unable to play 'Landslide [Live w/ Melbourne Symphony 2006]' - the connection to 7digital was lost. Thanks
I was wondering how updating the music library works. I am assuming that when you do an update it only adds the new tracks and doesn't completely reload the whole library. Also, I assume that it loads the music tracks first and then adds playlists. As an example, I have today re-mapped the folders. They had been working ok, but when I did an update today it wouldn't load playlists. I decided to delete the library and start again. On doing this, it only loaded up to the letter J, and added no playlists. On investigation, I found that the first folder under the letter J had its name prefixed with brackets and the year of the Album's release, in the format . This album is a new purchase. I am guessing that Sonos didn't like the square brackets. Does that make sense? Keith
Apple Music. Gone. TunedIn Radio. Gone. I tried deleting Apple Music, and can't even re-add it now. I suppose next up on the list is unplugging router and re-setting. Guys....guys....guys. Your hardware is great. But I work at a software company. And I've got to say - your implementation of Apple Music is not good. The integration is shoddy to begin with - many Apple Music features (indicators for explicit content, ability to "like" songs / artists, etc.) not implemented. For months, people like me and others on here couldn't get the new Apple Music stations to show up. To get them, you had to do a workaround by playing the station in the native Apple Music app, and then it would show up in Sonos recently played list. And now, out of the blue, it just goes belly up and goes away. So, so, so frustrating. I can't say it enough. And the most frustrating part is that my only recourse at this point is to post irritated messages in your community like this. And I'm sure
Hi there... I recently bought a Sonos Connect... İt works ok... But, only one thing is left... Sonos Connect can not be recognized or detected by any of my devices (laptop, ipad, android). I combined my Spotify account Sonos and I can use Spotify from Sonos app. But the other way around ( i.e. Using Sonos within Spotify app) is not possible. Can u suggest anything?. Thanks...
Hi, I have been using the Sonos controller on my windows laptop without issue for the last year, however in that time have never successfully updated my music library. Looking into this I realised that the 'Manage Music Library' option is greyout out and unable for selection on my controller. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling to remedy this however the option is never available to select. As part of the uninstall/install process I have now also lost the ability to play (can still select) my existing music library, when selected I get the following error message 'unable to play XXXXX - access to //Owner-PC/Music denied'. Any advise on how to add my music library back onto my Sonos controller? Thanks Scott
Hi there - The ability to send and control music from Spotify app directly to Sonos speakers is an awesome feature. About a week ago, every time a send music from Spotify app to Sonos speaker, the music is first played and consistently stops after just 10 seconds. The same thing happens again and again. Is anyone experiencing the same problem and have been able to find a fix? Thank you so much for you feedback.
I have a 100K song music library. My first attempt to have the control software manage it failed for insufficient space. I modified the registry entry as recommended and the software has been updating the library for hours now. Is there a way to have Media Monkey send output to the Playbar?
I have confirureg my controller, added few music services sonos favorites, playlists etc. I wonder if it's possible to store this all stuf under sonos account or in some other way. The idea behind is - to have a backup of the stuff - to be able to use my stuff on any other sonos system I can connect to Thanks, Marcin
