I am pretty upset I cannot use my iPhone as a music source with sonos. Gonna be awhile before I sink money into 3rd party hardware. Sad.

That’s too bad. I frequently use AirPlay 2 to send my music from my iPhone to a PLAY:5, and even sometimes to a Sonos One, and then group that speaker with my other speakers.

But yes, I’m both sad and still angry that Apple made the change that blocked the ability of the Sonos software to do this ‘natively’.

Yea - Apple loves to make there stuff so proprietary - like we don’t get proper lock screen control either.

But Toymaker - you just need a single current generation Sonos device and you can play via Airplay2 from any app or source (even your music on the phone).

May I ask how you have coped for the last eight months without this feature?
