Although pCloud storage can be accessed via an SMB connection to a local machine that has pCloud support installed, it would be useful to remove the necessity of having that extra machine. Would pCloud people have to provide such a piece? If so, would this automatically allow content to be scanned and available as part of the Music Library? I presume so, but just checking.

I’d assume, much like was done with the Western Digital connection, the work would be external to the Sonos team.

It might be hard to convince Sonos that there’s a large market place for this, which is why much of the development work is done externally. Someone would have to make a pretty solid case that Sonos could sell , as a SWAG, 10% more speakers by adding the support to their controller.

There’s a lot of developer discussion, although perhaps not specific to this use case, at the Sonos partners page.
