This seemed too easy, but I can't get this link to work. What am I missing?

When I go to the site, it opens fine on my computer. But no luck on sonos. How can that be?

Hello Mikeap, it seems the station is not responding to HTTP requests for the stream. You may test this by disabling the HTTP protocol in Windows Media Player 10 (under File < Tools < Options < Network) and check if the stream is still playable.

Notice that the station only plays in WMP10 with UDP and Multicast enabled... but not if only the HTTP protocol is enabled.

You may ask the station if they can enable HTTP support, it is often a simple matter of enabling the option for them.

I do have a similar problem.

When I paste a valid web radio url like:

http://www.energyzueri.ch/energy.asx

into the "Add" dialog for new internet radion station, it says "URL does not seem to be a valid ...".

The address is correct. Does Sonos have problems with .asx based stations ?

Thanks
Martin

Are you saying that that exact URL above is not working for you?

I added and played it on my system here... double check that there arent any characters in your copy/paste that maybe incorrect.

Yes, I pasted it exactly as quote above. very strange..

I'm using the very latest SONOS software. I'll give it a try again tonight.

Thanks for far.
