Audio line-in option vanished

Hi all, I have a vinyl player connected to a Play:5 via a line-in. This is part of a system including another Play:5 and a Beam (The Beam is connected to a TV). Everything worked well until lately, when the Line-in option disappeared as an option under the “browse” bar. So there’s no way to play vinyl through Sonos. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Two suggestions. First, try a simple reboot of the speaker, by unplugging the power for a couple of minutes. Also, try pulling out the line in, and then reseat it into the PLAY:5.

You say it’s part of a ‘system’ including another Play:5 and a Beam. Did you happen to set them up as a surround system 5.0? If so and line in disappeared afterwards, this is because the line in function is disabled in Play:5 when set up as surround speaker....
