Hello,

I'm trying to cast the audio from my MacBook Pro using Airplay to my Sonos speakers.
I have a surround system in the living room made out of one Beam and two 1s
I also have a One in another room.
Both rooms appear on the dropdown audio menu in the task bar of my mac, as well as on the available audio devices in iTunes.
It does connect to the room I click on, but no sound is playing. In the Sonos app, it detects that it is linked to AirPlay but i don't have any sound coming out even when turning it up from the Sonos app.

I don't have an iPhone so I can only test AirPlay through my Mac.

If anyone has the solution I'd be glad to know.
Thank you

Is your Mac running OS 10.13.6 or later? This is required for Airplay 2.

Hello there, gmasy. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. Outside of AirPlay, are you running into any other problems with your Sonos system? Would you mind submitting a diagnostic report and replying here with the confirmation number it gives at the end? Thanks!
