Adding Apple Music to New Play1

I'm trying to help a family member in setting up their new Sonos 1. We can't add their apple music account to the system, we keep getting "We've run into a problem. Try again." The apple music account is live on the iPhone we are adding from and we can stream music from the phone. I've tried adding both my amazon music and spotify and both add as expected, it's just her Apple Music account. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. I’ve had my Sonos for a long time without a problem. My music services are Apple Music and Spotify. I’ve had a problem since the last software update.. Spotify has had to be re uploaded and is working ok. Whatever I do with Apple Music doesn’t work.
Try uninstalling the Sonos app, and reinstall it. Also make sure your Apple ID password is correct.
I just added my Apple Music to my Sonos Play1, I didn’t have any issues. I hope this helps, good luck.
