New Upgrade offer

I just got the new upgrade offer and to be frank I am a big shocked. It seems like an environmental disaster policy of the highest order. The only thing I can think of describing it is an evil plan for getting us to buy more stuff and throw away stuff that works. I have a perfectly working old play 5 and connect and reading the terms of the offer I click on the link, get a 30% discount for buying new stuff then about 30 days later my perfectly working audio equipment is bricked and I dump then in the local “recycling center”. 

Please tell me I am wrong as personally I am horrified. Maybe if they were broken but even then in this day and age would it not be better to offer a repair service? 

 

How can we ask Sonos to change this policy?
