Done to preserve the sales of their smart speaker lineup. And people wonder why Sonos prices the Connect at $350? Or part of why Squeezebox going under was free software that let you mimic a $300 speaker with a cheap Raspberry Pi?
Already gone from Best Buy, out of stock at Google Store, prices already being jacked up on eBay.

RIP CCA! Hope GA comes really soon to Sonos.

And now it is the time for Sonos to introduce a basic Connect to a reasonable price.
I suggest that Sonos introduces 2 different Connects a Super Connect with HMDI and analog inputs etc. and a affordable Connect with just basic functions.

Why would they? If Google are killing off their extremely low priced alternative (for some people, anyway) then why would Sonos lower their prices?
