Sonos does not satisfy.

I bought into Sonos, and am starting to regret it. It is slow on my phone, cuts out, and is always updating but not better. So, …. Sonos where are you going? Is this going to be worth the pain in the end? I can get speakers anywhere. Can you tell me why I should keep your stuff?You keep offering free shipping. Shipping really isn’t relevant - that tells me you’ve lost your way. I’ve spent over $1,000. Keep the shipping, make the app work. This isn’t a pair of socks.

Sonos Era 100 not connecting to Sony PS-LX310BT Turntable via bluetooth

I recently bought two sonos era 100 speakers and no matter what I do neither one of them will connect to my sony PS-LX310BT turntable. I’ve had the turntable for awhile now and it has no problem connecting to other bluetooth speakers but they just won’t connect to my era 100 speakers.

Era 100 with Turntable humming

Hi everyone! I’m finding there are multiple solutions to this issue depending on the set up and turntable. Basically I have set up my Music Hall MMF-1.3 Turntable to my two Era 100 using line in connected to a RCA to AUX and I’m getting a massive humming noise.Changing the source level to the lowest does resolve the issue, however I’m too understand it should be at 10 for a turntable so I don’t think I’m getting the best out of it. The humming also returns on a low level if the volume is too high, I like to listen to my records quite loud.I feel like a grounding cable might help, but I don’t know where I could connect the other end too given the Era 100 doesn’t have anything to connect it to. Things to note:The turntable has a built-in phono pre-amp the tone arm is aluminium each speaker is 0.6m either side of the turntable The turntable also sits under my TV All of the adapters for my entertainment unit sit underneath where my turntable sits connected to a power board I have a feel

Connecting Sonos Ray with Denon AVR-S970H 5 ceiling speakers and sub

I just bought a Sonos Ray to compliment a newly purchased Denon AVR-S970H, five in ceiling speakers and a sub woofer. I cannot figure out how to incorporate the newly bought Ray into my existing surround sound set-up. I tried connecting the optical cord to the AVR, but both optical ports on the AVR are input, not output.I am not an audiophile, so I need some help. Both Sonos and Denon CSR’s were not helpful.Can I connect the Ray to the AVR via HEOS or Wi-Fi?Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Connecting Bluetooth turntable with pre-amp to Sonos

Hi, I’m looking for some support as to the product needs to get my Project bluetooth turntable with phono pre-amp to easily connect with my Sonos system. Below is what I have and plan to buy to create a surround sound experience for both TV and Vinyl but I’m not sure if I need the Port so I can easily flip between vinyl or TV connection? sonos beam gen 2 plays only dolby digital 5.1

Hei! I have a sonos beam gen 2 connected to a Philips 50PUS616/12 through Hdmi Arc. I have an apple tv conected to other hdmi and despitethe fact that most shows have dolby atmos, i never experienced it since the sonos app says that it is streamed in dolby digital 5.1any hints? Can i ever see dolby atmos on the app?

Sonos System with missing rooms on Google Nest Wifi

I have my Sonos system connected to Nest wifi pro. Every few days or so one of my speakers or rooms of my Sonos system disappears. I have to then restart my WiFi network and then the problem is solved. But then it happens again in a few days. What can I do to stop this from happening?

Sonos and Synology BeeStation

Just bought a Synology BeeStation and tried to connect Sonos to it but I keep getting the error “Unable to add the music share //192.1.168.1.112/Music”. Tried on my Mac and my iPad but get the same error. My Sonos devices are using the S2 OS as are my Mac/iPad applications. I have been using a Synology DS214se for many years and Sonos connects to it no problem. I contacted Synology support but they seem to think it is down to my Mac/iPad using smb1 instead of smb2 or smb3. They suggest I disable smb1 on my devices but that seems rather drastic.Anyone else managed to get Sonos talking to a BeeStation?

Using USA device in India

Moving from USA to India with my Sonos Arc, Gen3 and Era 100. India has 220v power compared to 110v in USA. All of these devices specification says 100-240v. Does that mean that the US device will work just fine in India without a step down converter? Anyone in the community who has done that?

Arc TV sound cuts in and out.

Just got the Arc and have it paired with 2 Play:1’s and a gen 3 sub. Samsung Q80R tv. The sound from the tv will play for around 5 seconds and then cut out for around 1 second, play for 5, out for 1, on and on. I’ve swapped out the hdmi cable twice, tried unplugging the tv, switched between PCM and DD+ and switched between different apps on the tv. The sonos app shows that I am getting an atmos signal Was running a beam with the Play:1’s (but no sub) before just fine. Not sure what I should try next. Thank you,mike

Sonos Radio jingles

So I subscribed to Sonos Radio HD to avoid the adverts. Excellent. Except I’ve listened about 8 hours of Sonos Radio HD today and there are no adverts….other than for Sonos!!! Whether it’s “Pure Unplugged, only on Sonos” or “Exclusive to Sonos”, they are adverts, and the very last people I should hear adverts from are the people I buy from!I’ve now unsubscribed.If I want to listen to music, and I am paying for an ad-free service, it should be exactly that.Fix it and I’ll return.

Sonos Roam keeps disconnecting while playing

We use our Roam to play white noise in our daughters room. The speaker is set up in her room on the wireless charger. Previously it always worked fine, and then now it randomly just drops out and appears as “not connected” in the Sonos app. It’ll play for an hour or so, and then it disappears. Hard rebooting the speaker via the button on the back returns it to the app and makes it usable again, but it’ll play for another hour or so and then randomly stop and disappear. For reference: my home sonos system runs on Sonosnet channel 6
