SiriusXM browse music error

This morning the SiriusXM alarms did not work.  When trying to browse the SiriusXM Canada channels it errors out with Sorry something went wrong please try again. I can get to a channel via Recently played. diagnostic # 1121686035

Suggestion

When using a soundbar plus Fives as Surround, but no Sub. Could the LFE Chanel be downmixed to the Fives, to take advantage of their excellent low frequency response.

Home Theater & Music

New to Sonos and just want to confirm if I can use 1 amp or need 2?  Looking to setup a 5.1 with soundbar/amp and 2 ceiling speakers in living room. Then in kitchen/dining room use 4 ceiling speakers.  From what I read you can connect up to 6 ceiling speakers to 1 amp. Not looking to use both systems at same time, but can I utilize the 5.1 and then the 4 other speakers separately with 1 amp? Hope this makes sense. thank you, David

Connect, Bridge and third party multi-room AMP

I’m using a speakercraft multrppm amp along with a connect and bridge. My bridge has stopped working, completely dead. When I try to locate my Sonos system it can’t locate it. It’s an old connect, do I need to replace and if so with what? I know I will eventually have to replace the speakercraft amp (11 years old) so is there something I can use now that will be compatible with current setup and then be used with possibly the Sonos AMP, whenever I eventually have to replace the Speakercraft AMP? Thanks

tv control

I recently installed a Beam and 2 ones as a tv surround system.I already had a Play 3.Have just added Google Assistant for voice control.All works great except I cannot turn my tv on and off with voice control.New Phillips 49 PUS with HDMI ARC port.Assume a setting somewhere but would appreciate advise.Thanks.

Home theatre Question

HiI currently have two Play:1’s in my living room that are paired for music.  I like the idea of getting a Playbase and using them as a home theatre setup (I know it is discontinued, but I can still find them online).  I’m using the S1 app.Some questions if I may -If i pair them as rear speakers with the playbase, can I still use them as general speakers for music through the app (as I do now with the paired Play:1’s) Presume in use, I turn on the TV and then the Sonos and they then work together? when I turn off the TV I then also turn off the Sonos?Anything to watch out for?ThanksMark

Pandora- where are all my channels?

Hello people,  I just realized that my Pandora (opened on Sonos app) only shows and plays 4 of my 80 channels.  When I try to turn on Sonos from Pandora app I get an error message saying system unavailable.  It works fine from Sonos controller but with only 4 channels showing .  I have removed and reinstalled the app and it still just shows (same) 4 channels.  Has anyone run into this issue or have a fix?

how can i optimise the sound with arc not under tv?

Can anyone help me with optimising the sound on the arc where it is not positioned under the tv?because of space I have had to place it to the left hand side thanks

Bluetooth connection?

Why did the app just update (June 2021) and make me have to allow bluetooth? I use this on wifi. I find the forced app updates a royal pain in the a$$.

Feature Request: Sound Profile Schedules

I’ve seen this requested a few times but wanted to expound on the possibility of more enhanced feature control. Sonos, could we please have sound profile schedules, with the option to assign a profile to a room at specified times with the option to enable/disable features?  For example, create a “Sleepy time” sound profile that turns on night night mode, disables loudness, and turns off surround.  Assign that profile to a speaker/room and schedule it to turn on and off at specified times?  features could include adjusting:-ambient/full music playback-tv loudness (on surround speakers)-bass level-speech enhancement mode-night modei know this is probably a big ask but these speakers should actually be smart if we are integrating them with smart homes and voice assistants :)I know you can sort of do this with voice assistants but with my British partner and my American accent voice assistants usually cause more problems than solve.  It would be great if we could do this straight from the

Music stops after 1 track sd card

I have music stored on my sd card on android phone and when playing through the sonos one in my kitchen always stops after 1 track, won't play an album continuously, no problems with Spotify or music services, just my old albums I have stored which aren't available online, has anybody had this problem and know any fixes, thank you

Adding streaming from my computer

I added my computer as audio source per the instructions from Sonos and SWYH and Sonos app confirms its been added but I can’t find it anywhere in the app.   Also where is Tunein in the app?  I can’t find that anywhere either.

Feature request - configure alarm to play in mulitple rooms

I can’t find anywhere this has been requested before, which I find surprising. I think there should be the ability to select multiple rooms when configuring an alarm. Yes I know you can select to include grouped rooms.  But this relies on someone checking that rooms are grouped correctly before going to bed.  We have tried and failed to do this consistently in a busy household - it’s not a satisfactory solution. The alarm should have the ability to group rooms to achieve the desired outcome. We have tried setting the same alarm up in multiple rooms, but this produces an impossibly pronounced echo effect!!

Volume adjustment time limit

Does anyone know of any way to lengthen the allowed time limit to make individual room volume adjustments???  System gives you approx 3 seconds to make adjustment and so you have to keep going back and forth to consider changing different room settings. Thanks!

constant updates, system jammed

Microsoft upgraded me to Windows 11 with asking, and then Sonos keeps on telling me to check for updates -- I do this, it finds one, downloads and installs. Then asks me to check again, and downloads and installs…. and so on, and on. I cannot get to the music library on the PC; one the phone it no longer finds the music library, and the process of trying to connect via the phone is impossibly complicated with instructions written by someone who really doesn’t seem to like customers very much. Any ideas? I just want to listen to some music……..

Is it possible to mix Sonos 1 and 3 for Beam surround?

I guess the guys and gals at Sonos would prefer I just buy another (or two) Sonos 1 to connect to the Beam to make for surround sound 😄 , but is it possible to ‘pair’ a sonos 1 and 3 to a Beam to make up the surround sound? Thank You.

Playbar and Play 5's

I have a 5k sq ft restaurant and I want to hang 8 Play 5’s from the ceiling and install one Playbar on one of the 12 tv’s. I want to be able to switch from tv audio to Spotify via my phone and the app. Is this feasible?

Hello Everyone,Just an idea for the menu My Sonos, I find that the different icons are a little sad in grey colour.Sonos has (I think) the possibility to modify this menu with more colours or the album cover sleeves by example.Kind regards.

Recent iTunes Playlists Missing

My Most recent Itunes Playlists are missing, not just from Sonos, but from seemingly the back end of my Macbook. For Example “Xmas Car 2” created this year. It does not appear in Sonos when I refresh or update the library. However, it also does not appear in “finder” on the laptop. It does appear in the actual Itunes. Along with more playlists more recently created. And the older playlist that do appear in both itunes, sonos and the itunes media folders on the computer. Where are these playlists and how do i get them into Sonos? So the issue is not thattI dont know how to update my playlists. Its that this process is not working. And I cant find the new playlist in my computer in order to add a new location for Sonos to find them in. I hope that makes sense, I realise this is probably a problem with Apple, but there is nothing I can find on their forum about this. FYI my music is not in a  Cloud, it is on my computer.  Cheers, Rich

dolby atmos

I have a Sony X950-h and a Sonos arc. I set the eArc mode on the TV to auto. Now whatever content I play through streaming services it says in the Sonos app that it is playing in Dolby Atmos, even with shows that I know for a fact are not in Atmos. Does anyone know why that is? If I turn the eArc mode off it then displays in the app the true audio however it will only then play Atmos content with Dolby digital plus. I just want to make sure that I am truly getting Atmos with Atmos compatible programs. Thank you!
