Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I just got an Arc a few weeks ago, and noticed the other day that the woofer speaker coming out of the left side was coming out and detaching from the main body (SEE PICTURES). I live in an apt so I definitely cant play the soundbar THAT loud so im curious if anyone is having this issue. Or if Sonos would be able to help fix this. I havent noticed a change in music quality, just guessing a defect on finishing?
I have been troubleshooting a rather strange behaviour with my SONOS speakers.I've noticed that this behaviour started somewhere between last week this week.I do have AutoUpdate enabled on both SONOS as Ubiquiti.I got:2x older Play12x newer PlayONE1x Playbar The behaviour is that somewhere during the day (i think in the night) both the 2 older Play1 and Playbar loses connection with my home network. My 2 newer PlayONE speakers work fine and the rest of stuff on my network keeps working without a hitch.I have tried restarting the speakers but that didn't help.Tried wiping them back to factory defaults (powering up while holding PLAY button). But then they don't connect to the network at all.The only thing that works is when I reboot my router. So the next day when it happened, I went in and cleared the DHCP lease of one of the speakers but when it rebooted it still didn't get connected to the network.I'm running out of ideas where to look. I am running a Ubiquiti network.2x Ubiquiti Nano
I have a sonos Sub. I think it’s a Gen 1 but I’m not entirely certain. Everything seems to be working fine. It’s updating correctly, its connected, visible in the app. I’m able to join it with other zones easily. The problem is there is no audio output. If anyone can help me out here I would appreciate it, please let me know what you need to know.
I am currently building a house and in the basement I have ceiling speakers. I plan on using an Amp to power those, add a sub, SL One (2), and Arc. I currently have a beam and I want to add multiple SL One’s throughout the rest of the home. Will it be possible to listed to music on the One’s while still operating the home theater in the basement without cross contamination?
I’ve got 4 Play 1 speakers and a Playbase. The living room has the playbase and 2 Play 1’s paired for surround and the two other Play 1’s are in separate rooms. I’ve had them for about 4 years all working perfectly fine. The internet provider hasn’t changed. The router is the latest one from Virgin media and has always worked fine and does with my other devices. But for some reason my Sonos app keeps losing connection to the speakers. I’ve tried turning the router on and off, resetting it, turning all the speakers off, reinstalling the app etc.Still no luck! It’s very frustrating because it all worked perfectly fine up until the last week or so.
During the initial setup of Sonos Beam I am getting error: "Your Beam has been added but may not appear in the System tab … ” After checking the admin panel of WiFi router, I can see that the Beam has never connected to router - it is not listed in DHCP nor in connected devices. I have tried restarting router and Sonos, resetting to factory settings, Reset App etc. Nothing helps. However I was able to setup the Beam succesfully with my friends router. It appears that Sonos does not like my router. It is Huawei HG8245H. Support diagnostic: 1238854072. Any other device (laptops, smartphones, TV, XBOX) connects to the router without any issues.
I installed 6 One SL speakers in different rooms two days ago. Everything worked perfect until yesterday evening, when all of a sudden I could not play music in different rooms at the same time anymore.I can adress every single box seperately, so they all work. The app shows soundbars behind the selected rooms when I play multiroom, but in reality only one room has sound… How to fix this?
Trying at add a pair of Symfonisk bookshelf speakers as surrounds to my Beam. I set them up and confirmed they were working individually. Then I tried adding them as surrounds.I go thru the setup and it fails saying “There is a problem adding your surrounds. Check the network connection and make sure your products are powered on. Try again.” They are powered on and network is working fine. My diagnose report is 201411928
Hello, I’ve bought 2 one sl to be added as surround speakers to Beam. I’ve configured them as stand-alone and they worked wellI’ve tried also stereo speakers, no issuethe issue was when I’ve configured them as surround speakers through the app. The configuration fails and the speakers went both stuck. The only thing I can do is to reset them and try to configure them again…. same issue I’ve tried also to keep them near the beam all devices are connected to Wi-Fi to the same access point any suggestion? the diagnostic number is 1995632990thanks
My setup is two 5.1 systems and three additional Play 1s. I use a Boost, wired to my router. Everything works as it should. I wonder if I can connect to the internet via the LAN port on the back of my Playbar. This might be a stronger connection for the smart TV in a room where the wifi is not as strong as the rest of the house
Like many I am now unable to listen to my TV over Sonos ...it's has gradually over the past few months got worse and worse since going over to the new app...it started with stuttering sound to complete blanks ...now the app will not even recognise my TV...this is since this new Success box that keeps popping up every time it decides to play anything...with my recent expansion of purchases a sub and two ports I thought with the addition of a second beam I would be set up .....but no new HDMI cables switching on off the linking, the booting unplug this change that...so I am sat here with 2k worth of sub beam left and right which can't play anything from my TV so apart from Spotify it's pretty redundant...absolutely fuming like others check my TV firmware etc I'm sure il get we are working on it...but I expected a lot more at this price not happy at all with my purchases or choice of equipment in future I will go elsewhere but it's a bloody expensive mistake ...
After updating to Sonos2, unbeknown to me until recently, my Sub had stopped working. Tried to reconnect it but having issues when I get to part of the process where you connect the device to a room/playbar. Have tried:Factory reset the Sub Sub connects fine to a temp network Checked my Wifi and wired network Moved as much RF interferring materials between the device and the APThe Sonos App (iOS) comes up with the following:“There was a problem with adding your Sub. Check the network connection and make sure your product is powered on.”I have logged a call, but I’m a little impatient.Any help would be appreciated.B
I ordered a Beam and 2 Ones for a home theater setup mainly for music streaming, along with watching some movies in surround. The Beam got lost in the mail so I received the 2 One’s first. Easy to setup. I set them up as stereo speakers and they sounded great. Finally, a few days later, my Beam arrived. I found to add the speaker, I had to break the stereo setup (in Sonos app) and then I could add them to the Beam as surround speakers. Here’s the issue. I don’t think it sounds as good. With just the two One’s the sound seemed to be coming from everywhere and was crystal clear. Now they are configured as rears, seems that most of the sound comes from the Beam and the One’s are really low. The sound seems to mainly be coming from the Beam and not traveling the room anymore. Am I doing something wrong? Do the One’s just have better fidelity? Thanks for your help.
Hi,I just bought a Beam and connected it to a Sony Bravia TV using the optical adapter. I also have a 4th Gen Apple TV connected.Since connecting the Beam I’m having two problems:I’m unable to airplay video from iOS devices onto the TV. I just get an error message whenever I try. (Less critical, but still annoying) The pause/play button is on the Apple TV remote does not work when watching video (from the Apple TV).Any thoughts on what may be causing this problem and how to fix it?Thanks!
Hi,After installing my two Sonos One SL coupled with my Sonos Arc, I realize a small problem.Indeed, before using TruePlay, the 2 One SL have the same volume. Only, after using TruePlay, the Sonos One SL on the left sounds much louder than the other. I tried to turn TruePlay off and on again and the difference is striking. I also tried to reuse TruePlay several times by doing different gestures. But nothing helps.I suspect the sloped ceiling of distorted TruePlay. But what to do ? Plus, TruePlay is a big improvement on Sonos Arc, so I can't do without this one.As for my setup. The Sonos Arc sits 8.85ft from the sofa at a height of 1.6ft. As for the two One SLs, they are 5.5ft apart and 4.60ft from the ground. I have put pictures for you to make it more meaningful:https://i.postimg.cc/wgKZGG2Q/20201221-173920.jpghttps://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=20/53/vb45.jpghttps://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=20/53/vb45.jpgThank you !
Hi all. Probably not the first and not the last one asking, but as I haven’t able to find solution there is no harm to do it again, right? 🙂So I’m stuck with constant issue of Sonos Arc + Phillips 65OLED754/12 not being able to stay connected over arc and enabling tv’s internal speakers whenever they please or so. Both tv and sonos are running their latest sw. At first thought that there is something to do with switching sources (also using Amazon fire-stick and UHD IP set-top box ARRIS VIP5305) and not able to pass audio to correct channel after that, but have noticed that when I switch tv off and on in the next morning from the same source, then sometimes it will pass the sound correctly to the arc and sometimes it will just play audio from TVs speakers. So no logic behind that...Only thing that will reconnect the whole thing is to plug everything off from outlets and reconnect it back in 30s or minute later.. Any ideas ?..(Cables are okay - checked and just got upgraded to sonos ar
I have a 2013 Magnavox television (Model 46ME313V/F7) and would like to connect a Sonos Playbar to it. We moved into a new home w/ 2 of these Playbars months ago and have only used them for streaming music so far. On the side of the tv are ports for HDMI, USB, and headphones, and this is a photo of the back of the tv. I assume that I would need to somehow connect the Playbar to the Digital Audio Output. Can someone tell me how to work this out? What cables/ adapters I will need? Thanks!
When I moved my SONOS Arc and Sub Gen 3 to a new router and connected them using Ethernet the two One SLs I had set up as surrounds over WiFi are found by my system in the set up but no sound comes from the speakers. I rebooted the One SLs and they reappear in the system but still no sound comes from the speakers. If I try using the Trueplay Tuning function it tells me I am missing speakers. If I change both the ARC and Sub to WiFi connectivity the system works as expected and I can tune the system using the Trueplay tuning feature.
I’ve got a Gen 2 sub connected to an amp and whilst listening to the tv i get continuos drop outs from the sub. Not sure its dropping of the network as it goes off and on really quickly. To be honest i havent had a chance to test if it drops whilst streaming music.I’ve sent in diagnostics and my number is 1722571753
Hi,I have the following setup arc + 2 ones and sub gen 2. Connected to LG CXLast night I heard a loud bang.I can't tell if anything was affected and I am trying to find a surround sound test that will test the surrounds each channel at a time. You tube on the LG doesn't seem to produce 5.2.1 (or anything other than stereo). I found one on Netflix by searching for test. All the surround speakers seem to work fine, but the sub test seems to cut out half way through. I am not 100% sure on this. As the arc also produces some bass it's hard to tell what the arc is producing and what the sub is producing. I know the sub will be more powerful bass, but I just want to isolate them if that makes sense. The sub isn't making any rattling or popping etc. Hoping that the bag I heard was unrelated to the AV equipment. Also I did a sniff test and couldn't smell any burning. I just want to find a second opinion test. Thanks in advance for any help.

So I am upgrading my TV and have Sonos surround set up the following way:Sonos playbarSonos subsonos amp connected to 2 non Sonos ceiling rearscable box (Fios) i really do not think it’s worth upgrading to ARC (my wife might throw me out) unless it’s really worth it. I’m assuming connect HDMI 2 from cable box to TV and optical from TV to play surround. What audio settings should I use on LG? With this speaker setup is ARC really superior? Looking forward to getting it running. Any replies greatly appreciated. I am big Sonos fan have amp,to outside speaker, another 5.1 setup and 5 other play ones throughout house.
Guys….I need some direction here.I’ve got a new network setup so I’m trying to reset my playbar. It has the RJ45 connection and I have tried to do the reset but what I see as examples on how to reset the playbar on Google doesn’t have the same pic as on my playbar. They, whoever they is, say to hold down the play/pause button but my playbar doesn’t have a play/pause button...only the mute button (speaker with a /(slash) thru it. I’ve tried to do a reset holding down that bottom also but no luck.If my new Arc didn’t have such a long delivery time, I’d just move this setup somewhere else and tackle it another day but….. HELP!
