I have 2 sets of Sonos architectural in ceiling speakers connected to 2 Sonos Amps in 2 separate rooms. In one room I have a Sonos Arc and was able to have the ceiling speakers attached to the Amp get set up fine as surrounds. In the other room I have an old playbar and was trying to set up the other Amp as surrounds with the playbar. Got it setup and seemed to be working fine for a few minutes and then noticed that system said it could not fine the Amp. Nothing in the app seemed to work to get the Amp to reconnect but playbar itself remained working. Tried to take the Amp off as surrounds but system still would not find the Amp again. Had to hard reset the Amp and setup Amp again as standalone speaker. Tried second time to setup as surrounds and same result only Amp became disconnected almost immediately and had to do hard reset again. Realize the playbar is a bit older and amp is brand new but seems others have gotten amps and playbar to work together. Any suggestions on thi
I recently purchased a Sonos Arc and Sub. I selected white to blend in with the existing decor. My Sub came with a white cable but my ARC came with black power and black HDMI which both stand out like dog’s b***s. I emailed SONOS (apparently the CEO) and asked if I could exchange the cable. I received a reply from a Dion stating that the cables only come in black. I have seen other posts where customers have received the same colour cable as the component they have purchased. I have also seen on SONOS website that white cables are available for purchase. Surely this isn't a hard thing to get right. Not a cheap item to have cables that don't match and then be told they don’t have white cables??? Anybody else have a similar problem and met with success?Disappointed in SONOS 😒
My Ray doesn’t seem to work with a Samsung TV 3D LED 46" UE46C7000WP. The tv doesn’t have the same optical audio plug of the ray (TOSLINK) but rather a mini TOSLINK, so I bought an adapter on Amazon but the Ray won’t work still. I have tried to play with settings (and of course selected external audio on the TV) but it won’t play still. The ray works with airplay on my Apple TV so that’s definitely not the problem. Any idea how to fix? Is is the tv too old (I guess it’s about 10 years old)Thanks!
Hi All, I’ve just took delivery of my first beam and whilst set up was floor less through my iPad, getting it set up via my iPhone is a different story as it keeps stating my beam can not be found on the network despite both my iPad and iPhone being connected to the same home WiFi network.
Hello,I just bought the project T1 SB with Sonos Port. And my sonos setup is: Sonos Beam 2x Sonos One 1x Sub I know the sub wont work with the Sonos Port, but I really want beam and 2x one to be working. But when I play a vinyl, I only hear sound from the beam and 1x Sonos instead of beam and 2x sonos one. Does the Port not work with 1x Beam and 2x Sonos One? Thanks
Greetings!Beam (Gen2) ist connect to Samsung TV UE75 HDMI Arc Port (HDMI2).Beam works nicely as streaming device for music. Here’s the issue: on the TV setup, the audio output device switches every few seconds from HDMI (Beam) to the internal TV speakers, back to HDMI, back to internal…For the few seconds, when the output device is HDMI, Beam works and sounds great.Any ideas?TV and Beam are on the latest software releases. Both have been rebootet. The HDMI cable in use is the one which came with the Beam system. Thanks a lot in advance and best regards!Joachim
Hi folks….Airplay…..well i’m just try to figure how to ask the right question here. I’ll try my best. The TV’s i got are more or less 10-14yo. They are all Plastma and they got HDMI ARC-connection.Before i got the Arcana HDfury,i had my home cinema streaming movies over Airplay(yes i got a Apple tv 4K for all my TV’s). When i start choose soundsource from the side menu i turn on my Beam and turn off speakers in TV. Then press play….everything seems to be working ok….If i watch Youtube, and there is a commercial, the Beam disconnected and only TV-speakers work. Then you need to go to sidemenu again…..choose the Beam and turn off TV speaker. Is there a way to fix this? Or i just buy a new TV with eARCor another eARC-extractor like an OREI or another Arcana(or a cheeper one….any suggestions?)

Hi all, I just got my Sonos Arc and set it up with my two Five‘s as a group for my TV.I also have the Pro-Ject Carbon turntable connected to one of the Five‘s.When I grouped the speakers, I couldn’t get the audio from the turntable to be played. The only option seems to be to remove the Five from the group as the line-in reappears as a source within the Sonos app. This is quite annoying - how can I get the turntable to be played on the entire group?
When I first received my Sonos system I loved it, still do but after moving I've become somewhat dissatisfied with the Sub. In my previous home, the sun hit low and hard now I can barely hear it.I noticed this be the first time I played it in my new home. My new house living room is a lot larger then my previous living room and has a high ceiling plus has somewhat of an open design. So naturally I thought I would have to play with the placement. I've been here for less than a year and have tried many different placements and nothing seems to work. I've found myself having to turn the sub volume up to 5 to get an almost pleasing result. I've tried placing the sub in my listening position and crawl around but nothing sounds particularly good.I got fed up a couple of days ago and took the sub upstairs to my home office which is a really small room. Left the sub paired to the Arc and played some music and the sub sounds so horrible when it comes to volume. I expected it to blow me out of t
I'll likely be buying an Arc for a 65" TV. The TV will be sitting in a cabinet (that I'm designing) and will be lifted up in front of a window when we want to watch TV. Otherwise we want to keep the view through the window. The Arc will sit on top of the cabinet even when the tv is hidden (so we can listen to music). The Arc will be at the top front centre of the cabinet, and the TV will rise up behind that through a hinged lid. What I'd like to know is what to allow for holes in the cabinet top so I can hide the cables and keep it all clean. As I haven't yet bought an Arc, I can’t tell if the cables come from behind or the middle or left side for example. I don't even know how many cables I'll need. Presumably at least power! The TV will be a 2021 model so have all the appropriate connections. Thanks John
