What sin did we do ? We paid almost 1700$ why can’t we have music directly played from devices. Why are you forcing us to upgrade every music service out there to play on sonos ??

Playbar is not Airplay 2 compatible. It's an older speaker, came out in 2013, lacks updated hardware to do it.
The hardware for the playbar was designed years before airplay 2 was even a thought. Airplay 2 has hardware requirements that the playbar simply cannot meet. It was not a business decision, but a technical incompatibly.

As far as your second question, I don't know what you're talking about. If your suggesting that requires customers to get a premium version of a particular music service in order for it to be played through Sonos, that simply isn't true. Sonos has no part in those decisions, and it's fully up to the music service in question.
